Graduation conditions

Conditions for completing postgraduate studies

1. The conditions for completing postgraduate studies at the Faculty of Agriculture and Biology are in accordance with Regulations of Postgraduate Studies at the Warsaw University of Life Sciences .
2. In addition to attending at least 80% of lectures, tutorials and field classes, it is required to write a diploma thesis and pass the diploma (final) exam.
3. The condition for a student to be admitted to the final exam is full payment for studies.
4. The final exam takes place in front of the Board appointed by the Dean of the Faculty at the request of the Head of Studies. The Committee consists of at least: the chairman of the Committee and two teachers conducting classes at the given postgraduate studies.
5. The Chairperson of the Committee, with at least a doctoral degree, is elected by the Dean of the Faculty from among the members of the Committee.
6. The course of the final examination is documented in the protocol.
7. In the event of an unsatisfactory grade in the final examination, the student has the right to re-sit the examination within the time limit specified by the Head of Postgraduate Studies.
8. The method of preparing the diploma thesis is regulated by Appendix 1 . Appendix No. 2 determines the pattern of the first three pages of the thesis.
9. The course of the diploma examination is regulated Appendix No. 3 to these terms.
